Welcome to Scriptory

Scriptory helps you memorize Bible verses using a simple spaced-repetition system. Add a verse, and each week you start a new cycle that progressively reviews it less often as it moves from active memory to long-term recall.

The Week System

Week 0Current — actively learning

Weeks 1–5Daily — review every day

Weeks 6–29Weekly — ~1 verse per day quota

Week 30+Life — permanently memorized

How to Use

Tap + to add a new verse (it starts at Week 0 — Current).
Tap a verse card to reveal the hidden side (reference or text).
Use Shuffle to randomize the order for a fresh review.
When you've reviewed the current week, tap Start New Week on the Current tab to advance all verses by one week.
Edit or delete a verse by tapping the Edit button on a card.

Daily Quota (Weekly Tab)

The Weekly tab shows a suggested daily review count — approximately 1/7th of your weekly verses so you cover all of them in a week without overwhelming yourself.

Import from iOS

Export ScriptoryData.plist from your iPhone using Files or iTunes, then select it below. All your verses and week numbers will be imported.
